I was in Fairhaven looking at some real estate when I decided to buy some seafood on my way back home. I found Kyler's on Yelp and it was close by and there were a fair number of cars parked in front, which was a good sign. I walked in and the entire market was a good size, the space was used well, and it was very clean. There were a few employees helping customers and one of them came over and asked me if I needed any help within 5 minutes of walking in. The person who helped us was very helpful and friendly, and I ordered a few lobsters, some clams, and clam chowder. They also sold sushi but I didn't buy any. I also saw some fishing boats in the back of the market so it seemed like a pretty legit place. Overall I'm happy with this find.

Whenever my wife and I travel through southeastern Massachusetts, we try to make a stop on the way home to buy fish at this great seafood store. The quality and freshness is terrific. Most of it is locally-sourced from fishing boats, some of which dock right behind the shop. There is also food service, which we tried for the first time the other day. The pasta with shrimp and spicy tomato sauce was very good and the crab cakes (more like hush puppies, actually) were delicious. There are a few tables inside and a number on the patio outside overlooking the dock. Definitely worth a visit.

Always excellent, always fresh, reasonably priced. Lovey loves the house shrimp, I buy salmon and haddock. Grab French bread on the way out, and you'll be compelled to hit a good deli. They bake it daily.

1st off this place is CLEAN! The staff are super friendly!! Beautiful outside eating area on the water overlooking the fishing boats! I ordered fried clam plate, big portions, tasted delicious. Better than every other place I tried in the area. This place is about to become an expensive habit for me but worth every penny! Definitely check them out

The deck at Kyler's is a great place to hang out with friends and eat fresh seafood. The deck overlooks the harbor and Acushnet River. Their fishing boats dock there and bring in the day's fresh catch. We are blessed with some of the best and freshest seafood in the Northeast. The fish that's served here is about as fresh and tasty as you can get without catching it yourself. Prices are reasonable and I believe you can order just about anything sold in the fish market. Service was good and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for the server to ask us if she could accommodate us with any reasonable requests. Be sure to leave a cash gratuity in the box as you are exiting. It's just past the register on the right. I had a large fish and chips. What I got was 3 huge pieces of white fish (probably haddock or cod) deep fried in what looked like a beer batter, English style. The fries were fried separate from the fish (no fishy or oily taste at all). They were the best fries I've had in years, browned perfectly with a deep hue and served up hot. They had no off flavors of stale oil or being fried and too low a temperature. I know that's a lot to say about fish and chips but damn it was good! Close to perfection.
